Hi! After our summer of retirement, we moved to Salt Lake City in Fall 2008 where we rejoined the working world. So far so good! Our fun-things-to-do to free-time ratio is really high, but hopefully we’ll find time to post updates now and then.

Hi!
I am an archaeologist (PhD student at Vanderbilt) came across your adventures (great pictures!) searching for photos of a site I am interested in: Hualcayan, in Ancash Peru. The day I was there my camera battery died (I unfortunately didn’t have a backup) and I am in dire need of a good photo of the site that shows the two sectors of architecture on the hill (the main part of the site just at the bottom of the steep slopes of the Cordillera). One of your pictures posted online does show them, and is a perfect view, but your photo has the canal protruding in front of it and it doesn’t clearly show the site. Would you be willing to share any additional pictures you have of the site that might help me out? That is, either a shot that shows the entire hill with architecture taken from the ground looking toward the mountainside, or even better, a shot from above. I am presenting my findings at a conference in a few days, so any photo would be helpful. Thanks in advance if you can help!
Hope you really enjoyed Peru
Rebecca
PS–your life adventures look great! I love the adventurous spirit.
